Friends of Pocklington School Winter Ball

A huge thank you to everyone who supported the FOPS Winter Ball this year ! Almost 200 people joined us at the fab Barmby Field Barns for drinks , delicious food from Pastelle Kitchen … and dancing into the early hours with music from South West Band .
We are so very grateful for your support both on the night and from businesses for our Silent Auction .
Please look out for more information in 2025 regarding how we are supporting our fantastic School with monies raised and through further events . We would LOVE to have your continued support to ensure these events can continue to go ahead .
In the meantime , we thank you again and wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year !
Friends of Pocklington School
Michaelmas term is always special for many reasons - not least the sheer volume of co-curricular opportunities on offer to every one of our pupils . Saturdays have had a distinct buzz about them as our hockey and rugby fixtures have got underway . The CCF cadets have spent some time training off-site at the Driffield Training Area , putting the skills they have learned to the test . We also launched our Duke of Edinburgh ' s Award programme for the 2024 / 25 academic year . The Music Department has been thriving with the Soloists ', Rush Hour and Autumn Concert and the Drama Department showcased their talent in abundance with the incredible Much Ado About Nothing production in November . The pace of life at Pocklington School continues to excite us all - thanks to all pupils , staff , parents and supporters for coming along on the journey with us !
