Harnessing Organisational Change Opportunities for an Improved Project Management Approach Dawn Kleinman Senior Manager, IT Governance Challenger Limited
Having a Project Management Methodology in place does not mean that it remains static. Continual changes in structure, process and market conditions can offer opportunities for improvements. This is a journey of organisational change for a medium sized financial services firm of approximately 500 employees attempting to maintain a balance between regulatory requirements and changes in risk appetite. An organisational timeline will demonstrate the changes resulting in a refined PM approach due to structure changes, the economic environment, executive risk appetite and regulatory requirements. It will also show how these changes have influenced the project management skill set required of their employees.
