6. Allow your daughters to engage in physical activities, let them get dirty, rough and get a few bruises as long as they are active. Many parents treat their daughters like little china dolls or princess, but they too have the right to get down and dirty from time to time, so don’t be afraid to let them participate in sports, or outdoor activities.

7. Teach your daughters about the value of eating healthy meals and staying active. This will help them always be conscience of the choices they make and how they eat and exercises in life. Teach them that exercise is not a bad thing, but rather beneficial because it is better being fit than thin and underweight.

8. Allow your daughters to fully and honestly display their emotions. A lot of the times we are forced to hide our true feelings under a false smile simply because a smile is more appropriate in public and because girls should always smile, well false, girls have the right to smile, cry and do as they please and they should never hide behind a false smile.

9. Over all, let your daughters always know that you will love them no matter how they look like. Fat or thin, your love will always be unconditional and you will never criticize or hurt their feelings by talking about how less than pretty they are, how much weight they

have gained and so on, mothers and parents in general should never ever do that.

Society can be rather cruel at times and very harsh towards our young children, especially girls. Often time’s girls struggle with problems similar to hating how they look, self-confidence issues and far worse and they learn to hide them well because if something society has taught us is to hide well how we feel and what our true mental status is like. The sad part is that parents often find out about their daughters problems when it is already too late and they are far too deep in eating disorders, self-loathing, or other degrading behaviors and parents find themselves unable to do much for their beloved little girls
