We asked the guys at NM Plumbing what’ s in their toolboxes. Here are their answers.
He grins broadly as he explains that his favourite tool is his tester.“ It’ s made for plumbers,” he says,“ We do a lot of geyser installations and a lot of work for insurers, so it’ s vital that I am able to check if there is electrical current running before I can do any work. We lose too many artisans every year, and this is something I can’ t do without.”
Derique Garcia believes that the one tool a plumber cannot do without is a good, knowledgeable assistant.“ When you are up in a roof, you need someone who knows what they are doing to help you out,” he says.“ Having a knowledgeable team member makes a world of difference to your work.” PA
