A plumber from AJC Plumbing said he had prepared for the 5km run by training every day after work. This was the second Family Fun Run that IOPSA hosted and the turnout was quite impressive, as many people came through with their family, friends, and colleagues. “IOPSA would like to thank our sponsors, with EWSETA (Energy and Water SETA) being our lead sponsor for a second year in a row, for contributing to the prizes for our runners and cyclists,” Bell said. We are all winners at the end of the day; it’s not about the prizes. Lea Smith Smith added that EWSETA provided support to the institute with numerous training aspects. Other sponsors that also sponsored the event were the Plumbing Industry Registration Board (PIRB) and Plumblink – Proudly Bidvest. “Without the support from our sponsors, these events would not be possible,” Bell concluded.
