Utilizing a large, state-of-the art commercial
kitchen with plenty of freezer and refrigerator
space, all kinds of table crops can be processed,
private labeled and sold at Crossvines. “What local
small farmers are growing already will suffice.
Cucumbers can become pickles, tomatoes can be
made into into BBQ sauce, salsa, ketchup, marinara
sauces; your basil, lettuces and herbs can be
turned into pesto; squashes, peppers and mushrooms
can be turned into ratatouille and made
shelf stable,” says Josh.
Reflecting on his new adventure at the Revenue
Authority, Josh muses, “This is my chance
to give back. This community has been so good
to me, at the end of the day I know I’m making an
impact. For that I’m grateful and happy to be in a
position to do so.”
