Sugarloaf Studio is flooded with northern light which is the perfect place for fine artist , Susan Pearcy to create her prints , paintings and drawings . Susan paints landscapes plein air and still lifes in the studio . She ’ s working on a new series of prints using techniques she learned at a workshop in Mexico earlier this year . Something Earthy resides on a small farm located on the Ag Reserve in Laytonsville . Linda Phillips , owner / potter offers a full range of pottery classes for adults and older children . Attached to the studio you will find a gift gallery that houses Linda ’ s beautiful yet functional pottery along with many other local artisans ’ creations in wood , jewelry , paintings , fabric and more . They also have a pavilion that is used for outdoor events such as summer concerts .
