Description: Brightland International Kindergarten, located in Tak Nga
Court, Tai Po, is run by a group of enthusiastic professionals. Since
September 2016, the school has been providing quality pre-school

Curriculum: Our curriculum targets children in their early years of
schooling. We place emphasis on the development of children’s biliterate
and trilingual competency through an integrated approach adopted by both
local and foreign teachers.
Description: British Council International Pre-School is a non-profit making,
independent bilingual pre-school. Our students are inquisitive, confident,
responsible and independent thinkers, led by our highly qualified teachers
with extensive experience of early years education methodology, pedagogy
and content. We are committed to providing our students with an excellent
bilingual education that enables them to become global citizens.

Mandarin Curriculum: The children will learn in a rich and fun language
environment, which will consolidate their listening, speaking, reading and
writing skills in English and Chinese. Through the Chinese and English reading
programmes, we aim to enable young children to cultivate good reading habits,
laying the foundation for lifelong self-learning.
Other Languages Available: Cantonese
Facilities: The campus environment is excellent and the school facilities
are of high quality. Our classrooms are spacious, and well ventilated. We
have excellent facilities for indoor activities, and a variety of advanced
audio-visual teaching materials for children’s intellectual, emotional and
physical developmental needs.

Admission: You can apply online, by post or in person.
Transport: Our school provides comfortable Nanny Buses that easily
connects us to different districts. Each Nanny Bus has their own helper to
accompany children going to and home from school. Safety is our first priority.

Curriculum: British Council International Pre-School adopts the UK-based
International Early Years Curriculum (IEYC), delivered through a full immersion
English and Chinese bilingual curriculum with daily Mandarin time. The
curriculum, which is a _learn through play’ interactive curriculum, provides a
holistic educational experience for children to develop in many areas.

area, an indoor gym and a creative art corner.

Fees: The annual school fee is HKD$78,000, to be paid over 10 months.
Admission: We accept applications for Nursery (K1) to Upper Kindergarten
(K3). Interviews will be set up to assess the fit between parents, the child
and the school. A casual test through games and activities will be arranged.
The admission criteria will mainly be based on the result of the interview,
available space and the parents’ commitment to British Council’s educational

Parents: Regular activities for parents and families are held throughout
the year, including; themed monthly outings, coffee mornings, storytelling
schemes, volunteer programmes, educational workshops, in-class activities,
