Through its effective one-teacher-one language co-teaching approach, native speaking teachers work as a team to provide a total immersion language environment. It works with Columbia University in implementing the Teachers College Reading and Writing Project (TCRWP). Description: City Kids has two sections: Little Stars (accompanied session for children 10 months to 3 years old) and international Pre-School (unaccompanied for children 2.8 to 5.5 years old). The Pre-School enjoys a high level of parent involvement and has a ratio of 16 children to one teacher and one educational assistant. The curriculum is based on the UK Early Years Foundation Stage and covers seven key areas of learning, which are pursued through play and theme related activities. City Kids offers morning and afternoon sessions, which includes mandarin twice a week and an extended day programme in term 3 for children that will enter year 1 that year.
