Jeff Sable is a Granite City, Illinois native breaking into the national country music scene. The singer/songwriter is often found collaborating and playing music with his co-writer, brother and bass player Chris Sable. Sable recently released his new CD, "Sable...I am." One of the songs on the CD, "Rainy Days at the Beach" is featured in video hitting big in both national and international video broadcast outlets such as Zeus, TNN, Heartland, and Great American Country. The brothers, recording on the American Eagle Recordings label, have released four singles that charted nationally on country radio.

DD: "Sable...I am" is an interesting title. I understand there is a story behind it.

Sable: (laughing) You could say that. But this a family magazine....I'm not sure I can tell it without some colorful language.

Million: We released Jeff's first CD "Subconscious ," and his first single "Raised On The Radio" to country radio under the name Sable with Jeff's photo on the front, our promotion people came back to us with feedback from some of the country radio program directors...."who does this guy think he is....Madonna....Cher....Bon Jovi?" Apparently some people objected to his just using the one name. So the next CD's we released we put "Jeff Sable and the Sable Band " as the artist, to appease those radio folks that thought maybe Jeff was "too big for his britches.".
