Sable: But we really are Sable. It's my name, it's my brother's name, it's the band name. We are all Sable. When somebody advertises that we are playing there, no one says that Jeff Sable and the Sable Band is playing there...it's just Sable. So this time when we released the CD we were looking for a title and I decided on "Sable....I am." Because too big for our britches or not....Sable is who I am.

DD: I love the new video. It's so beautiful....the scenery is just breathtaking and I'm not just talking about the actress that plays the love interest. I understand there is a story behind the video too.

Sable: I'll let Max start cause the story started with a phone call he received.

Million: I was working in my office at the computer and my phone rang. When I answered, it was a video producer out of California, whose name (Kevin McVey) I recognized. He told me, " A friend gave me a CD by your artist Sable. I really liked it, and I would like to work with him on a music video."

I knew a little about him and he was a much bigger deal than I knew we could afford. and essentially that's what I told him. He told me he really wanted to work with Jeff and he would work with me on the cost.

I asked him what was the budget on the last video he completed. He told me that he had just finished one for Warner (one of the major record labels) and that budget was $97,000. I laughed and told him, "We're getting ready to film a video for a single we're going to release called "Rainy Days at the Beach," and I told a video company yesterday that $3,000 was too much.
