There are many such people whom I admire for their strength and grace, and because when stuff goes wrong, as it often does, they HANDLE it. (Looking over at Mr. FireHeart with a knowing smile.)

They handle it in a thousand different ways on a thousand different days, but they boldly handle it even as they make time to care for and nurture others and continually look towards the future. They do not wallow in self-pity or the past. The past is over – it takes a bold person to live in the present and is eager and motivated about the future.

“Nothing is sweeter than being unapologetically you. Don’t live your life just to impress others. Reveal your truth, express your love, boldly live your dreams.” ~Amaka Nkosazana

Here are a few pointers about being bold and those who are willing to take on this challenge --

Accepting the Challenge to be Bold

Following are a few of the characteristics of the unapologetically bold

It’s worth clarifying that boldness is not about how outgoing you are, an Introvert can be just as bold Extrovert, and you may well be bold in some areas of your life and not in others.

It’s much more about having the courage to be true to yourself.

Be Authentic: They don’t pretend to be something or someone they aren’t. They face and embrace their fears and aren’t afraid to go against the crowd if it means being true to themselves.

Learn From Failure: Rather than an end, see failure as an opportunity for growth and understand that the only reason to be ashamed of failure is when you don’t learn from the experience.

Speak Up: Don’t be afraid to express their opinion or take a stand. Believe in the importance of living true to their values and highest life priorities.
