Humans and their actions are the main ones to blame for all of the trash that is polluting and hurting the ocean. This being said, we are also the main ones who can reduce the amount of litter in the seas. Removing trash directly from oceans is only one part of the problem though; since there is already so much trash in our oceans, the most effective solution to this problem is to prevent trash from ever reaching water, especially plastic.
