Academic Overview
At the International School of Toulouse, we focus on creating a learning environment where students develop essential skills and a positive outlook to adapt to a fast-changing world. Our educational pathway aligns with the philosophy and methodologies of the International Baccalaureate( IB) while incorporating other globally accredited curricula, such as Cambridge International. In the Early Years and Primary( up to Grade 5), students follow the IB-accredited Primary Years Programme( PYP). Middle School( Grades 6 – 8) features a rigorous, well-structured curriculum designed to bridge the PYP and the International General Certificate of Secondary Education( IGCSE, Cambridge International Examinations), which students undertake in Grades 9 and 10. In High School( Grades 11 and 12), students pursue the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme( IBDP), a rigorous and internationally recognised qualification.
The International School of Toulouse welcomes applications year-round. As a private, co-educational day school, we provide high-quality, internationally accredited education in English, supporting global mobility for families. While priority is given to Airbus-sponsored students, we embrace a diverse student body from many backgrounds. Families with a local Airbus contract receive a 60 % discount on regular fees. Students join year groups based on their age as of September 1st, with Pre-Kindergarten( PK) entry available the month after they turn 2 1 / 2. We support non-native English speakers, with Grades 9-12 requiring sufficient proficiency. Our French programme supports all levels, with immersive opportunities through extra-curricular activities and certain subjects.
