3 . PLANT DESCRIPTION :

General Features , Leaves , Flowers , Fruits

Perennial semi-shrubby , prostrate herb with a long rhizome . They drive numerous people out of it non-flowering and flowering stems , as well as aerial rooting creepers . Short-stemmed leaves are always opposite , coriaceous , entire-margined , oblong-lanceolate , evergreen . The flowers grow singly from the axils of the leaves on long stalks . The calyx is small , green , the crown is large , blue-violet with a longer funnel pipe and five chips . It is pollinated by butterflies and bees . Fruits - cylindrical bladders rarely form two or three seeds . They are probably spread by ants .
