The machine is ideal for work in quarries,
mines and on construction sites, and is
quite easy to handle in limited space.
Not quite a butterfly, but it gets the job
done despite adverse ground conditions.
The machine’s transmission allows for six
gears forward and three gears back and is
fully tiptronic.
The ‘Tipshift’ (forward-reverse direction
control) allows for much easier control
and enables the operator to focus on the
loading process. In conventional loading
works and manoeuvrability in limited
spaces, the operator applies both loader
and forward-reverse commands from a
single point, without losing steering wheel
handling by using the ‘Tipshift’ button.
The machine has an excellent weight
distribution and wide stabilisers provide
safer excavation in undulating landscapes.
A cushioning system in the excavation
cylinder softens the movements at the
ends of the strokes, absorbs the impact
and prolongs the machine life. In addition,
the Alpha is equipped with a telescopic
arm that can dig up to 5.80m deep when
the work requires long reach.
