WELCOME BAGS OR PACKETS FOR FAMILIES AND SCHOLARS
Providing our scholars and families with a welcome bag or packet is a great way to make them feel welcome and organized for the beginning of the year. When students apply to college, they often receive a letter of acceptance from a college they applied to. Our scholars deserve the same feeling of acceptance! Providing them with a bag or folder with similar items will help students feel welcome and ready for the new year!
Examples of Items to Include:
1. Canvas tote or folder
2. Acceptance Certificate for your School with Scholar's Name
3. SWAG Item: i.e. pencil, wristband, or water bottle
4. List of Staff Members with Contact Information
5. Map of the School
6. Copy of BTS Night Presentation
7. Individual Teacher Information (Collect this as they visit classrooms)
8. Supply Lists per Grade
9. Family Calendar of Events for the Year
10. Healthy Snack or Treat
