Behavior Interventionists respond to Tier 2 behaviors with the goal of the scholar effectively staying in/returning to class quickly. They should:
Climate Cultural Specialist /admin for Tier 3 behaviors

- Work directly with scholars on de-escalation strategies
- Aim to keep scholar in the classroom to support with strategies/tools for them to apply in the classroom setting
- If scholar needs to be removed, after de-escalation, provide transition support back in the classroom to reinforce strategies/tools taught to scholars
- Assist classroom teacher with creation of Behavior Action Plan for Tier 3 scholars needing behavioral support
- Document interventions and track behavior data
- Communicate with parents on behaviors, school response, and Action Plan
-Work with MTSS team for Tier 3 scholars needing behavior support
