Not only do cops go risk their lives, but they also have to be in very good shape. Cops that are fit are much more intimidating than those that are obese. Intimidating cops make it less likely for people to try to escape.
Realizing what goes on during a day as a cop will help me with finding out how law enforcement works and how dangerous it is. More often than not a cop wants to become something bigger such as a member of the SWAT team which means they’d deal with even more serious criminals and situations. My cousin is one of those cops that wants to be part of SWAT because he feels that he will be able to help more people and that is all he wants and that is the reason that he joined law enforcement. Everyone in law just wants society to be a safer place and help those in it to have safe lives.
