Pope John Paul II High School places the formation of a student’s faith life as essential to the PJP experience. Founded
on Gospel principles, and emboldened by our patron, Saint Pope John Paul II, we strive to encourage each student to
grow in their relationship with God, themselves, and others. We encourage students to embrace the faith in their lives,
to understand community in a global as well as local sense, to experience personal and communal prayer, and to realize
that service to others is basic to the Gospel message of Jesus.
Each student has the opportunity to grow in his or her life of faith through the following areas and more:
• Daily Mass
• Monthly Schoolwide Community liturgies
• Communal celebrations of Reconciliation and weekly opportunities
• Class retreat experiences
• Senior Kairos Retreat
• Active Campus Ministry Team
• Student participation in the planning and participation in Mass, Retreats and Prayer Services
• Respect Life Club
• Liturgical Music
• Theology curriculum spans entire high school experience
