The cheapest food here is the Coleslaw and the Grandma’s Potato Salad. Starting at 2.75. The Matolla Burger is the most expensive item at 13.50 for the whole burger for the half price it’s 8.75. I’ve tried their wings and they are pretty good. So if your in the mood Bar food I would go here. Decent wings at a nice price. South Side If I had to choose I would say they are almost both equal priced.As long as you stay away from the higher prices You should be great. Check these two places out. Both located in Market Square Good old South Side. It’s probably one of the only places that has an Tattoo/piercing shop on every corner. In 1763 King George III of England gave John Ormsby 2,400 acres which was along the south bank of the Monogahela River. Making this the start of South Side. The land was given to Ormsby for serving in French and Indian War. He decied to to dived his land into four districts: South Pittsburgh, Birmingham, East Birmingham and Ormsby. In 1872 all four districts were later connected. South Side is a mixer of older and younger group of people making it well diverse in that way. From Vintage clothing stores to unqiue shops. South Side is one place for the hip the urban. It has everything from Night clubs,Bars, little Boutiques, to South side Hosptial. Also it’s now even more a hot spot because South side works which has an movie theater located in the area. Ratings on Urban Spoon shows that Fat Heads Saloon, on 1805 E Carson St, Pittsburgh is the number one place people are eating over on South Side. Fat Head Saloon The prices are pretty decent here. The Highest Price food is the Grilled Filet Mignon with is an Entree for $35.00. The Cheapest is the Gumbo Ya-Ya Soup at $4.00. Even the draft and Bottle Beers are pretty decent. So if your looking for a little New Orlane Style food then stop down at Nola’s. Just don’t Chateau Wine it’s cost is between 200 to 600 dollars Downtown Downtown, the center of pittsburgh the home of large building and home to almost everything. Downtown can be considered a New and old Neighborhood. In 2008 it celebrated its 250th birthday. Also having something esle to be happy about the expanding downtown residency. And it’s still expanding today. There are a varaity of things to do downtown from getting your nails done to get a bit to eat infont of the hot dog cart. Meat and Potato’s is the hot spot for this area on Urban Spoon. So lastly what is your favorite spot to eat?
