fit for Erin and Chuck. If there was ever a team, they are it. Three wonderful children, Bella, Alex, and Cade, were born and grew up in The Lexington School. I am proud of them. Bella, tall and lithe, is wonderful at her studies and at baking cookies for classmates in Asheville and for her family – confidence in the kitchen is part of the Southern and my Italian heritage. Both Erin and Chuck are “awesome” cooks and hosts for the many receptions and parties they host in the beautiful Lexington School Headmaster’s home. Alex, my namesake, is a sports athlete and all- around-student. He is exploring the universe. His kindness is remarkable. And Cade, the youngest, becomes more Cade every day, and that is a long drink of water. Our Charles, now Chuck, is beloved son, brother, husband, father, teacher, and Headmaster. As Chuck’s dad, I will miss The Lexington School, as will the Baldecchi family. Below: Chuck as an Asheville School English teacher; Chuck and Erin’s wedding day 5
