NK! Testing on animals is not cool and with so many amazing, animal loving make up brands on the market right now there's no excuse for choosing cosmetic cruelty. We rounded up our top picks from the high street and high end. A drug store staple, NYX is everything we love in a make-up brand - lots of glitter, ten varieties of eyeliner and low, low price tags. The New York based giants recently made their way into Boots stores across the UK, and provide brightly coloured essentials and going out glam for any occasion. A lot of their range is also vegan! We love their Vivid Brights liquid eyeliner pens, just £5.50. If you've got extra spending money this month, treat yourself to an Urban Decay palette. You won't regret it! Known for their quirky collaborations and pigmented shadows, Urban Decay are an animal friendly brand for the more adventurous make up lover. We're adding the gorgeous Moondust palette (£36) to our wish list. By now we've all pretty much accepted Anastasia as Queen of the eyebrow, but her range covers all bases. Highlighters, liquid lipsticks and contour kits are all available through the ABH website and come at no cost to our furry friends. Start your collection with the timeless Brow Wiz, just £15.50. If you were a teen girl in the early 00's, you'll remember spending your pocket money on neon glitter and fluorescent lipstick from the Barry M stand in Superdrug. Fast forward a few years and the range is a little more sophisticated, offering gorgeous nude lip liners and lipsticks that will take you from day to night with ease. (Hot pink lip gloss is still stocked though, don't panic.) Our personal fave is the Matte Me Up lip pain, retailing at only £4.99. lllamasqua has a really luxe feel to it, without the jaw-dropping price tag, and that's something we are always here for. Combine this with their zero tolerance to animal cruelty policy and we're on to a winner! The brand offers a wide range of cosmetics, from their famous foundations to eccentric lip shades. We're big fans of the Skin Base foundation (£32.50). Available exclusively at Superdrug, Gosh is the hidden gem amongst cruelty free brands that you really need to hear about. With such a wide variety of shades, formulas and products available, Gosh have something for every skin type and every taste. The Boombastic mascara (£8.49) is our personal pick from the range.
