WESTBROOK CHRISTIAN WARRIORS
The move to Class 3A for the first
time in school history was bumpy for
the Westbrook Christian Warriors.
The Warriors’ 3-7 record was the
least amount of victories in a decade.
Head Coach Tony Osborne believes
his team will be better in 2015,
“Our guys have worked hard all year.
They are working hard in the weight
room and that will continue.“ WCS
returns an impressive eight starters
on offense and nine on defense.
Osborne feels like his first 11 on
both sides of the line will be really
good, but depth will be a major issue
with lots of players going both ways.
Two experienced players will lead
the 2015 Warriors. Jordan Kilgo will
be a four-year starter, despite being
only a junior. Kilgo (6’4, 230) will
anchor the offensive front at tackle.
Fifth-year starter Sam Blackstock
(5’10, 210) will play both offensive
guard and inside linebacker. Senior
twins Joseph and Andrew Schauer
are expected to have big years.
Joseph (6’0, 205) stepped in at
quarterback last season and showed
vast improvement during his first
year as a starter. He will also play
at linebacker. Andrew (6’2, 190)
will start at both wide receiver and
safety. WR/CB Gilbert Rosas (5’9,
160) is a dependable and steady
player for the Warriors, as is WR/
CB Justis Glassford (5’10, 180). WR/
DE Chandler Richards (6’2, 185
Sr.) will also see plenty of playing
time for Westbrook. New Offensive
Coordinator Brain Mintz will try to

jump-start a Westbrook offense that
