EAT TO COMPETE: BEATING INFLAMMATION ONE BITE AT A TIME

Have you ever been attacked by ridiculously aggressive players and outplayed them with the perfect resets? Just as good blocking skills can defend against those pesky bangers, certain foods can help your body battle inflammation. Fighting inflammation can be especially important for avid players who tend to overdo those hours on the court from time to time.
What is inflammation?
Inflammation is a normal immune system process response to damaging factors including stress, injury, aging, toxins from the environment( sun, smog, smoking, etc.), and even from inflammatory foods or drinks we consume( ultra-processed foods and alcohol).
