Renown Announces Plans to Build Standalone Children’ s Hospital
Renown Health announced plans to build a standalone children ' s hospital on the Renown Regional campus, thanks to a transformational $ 40 million gift from philanthropist Tom Golisano. This is the largest philanthropic gift in Renown ' s history. With this investment, Renown joins the Golisano Children ' s Alliance, a national network of 21 children ' s hospitals dedicated to advancing pediatric care.
Renown Earns Gold Award for Medical Waste Reduction
Renown’ s Supply Chain Contracting Services team earned the 2025 Gold Environmental Excellence Award from Stryker Sustainability Solutions for reducing medical waste through singleuse device reprocessing.
In 2025, the program diverted 63,000 units of waste, increased collections by 18 % and achieved a 76 % buyback rate. The recognition highlights Renown’ s ongoing efforts to reduce environmental impact while improving supply chain efficiency and lowering costs.
24 / 7 Clinical Help Desk Supports Providers
Renown’ s Clinical Help Desk, launched July 8, provides 24 / 7 support for both Renown-employed and non-employed providers experiencing issues with Renown technology. Staffed by Epic-certified customer service agents trained by Renown Epic Educators, the team is equipped to understand Renown workflows and help resolve clinical issues quickly to prevent delays in patient care.
