Renown Children’ s Hospital Announces Leanne Wallace as 2026 Children’ s Miracle Network Champion Child
Renown Children’ s Hospital and Children’ s Miracle Network( CMN) are excited to announce LeAnne Wallace as the 2026 Champion Child. LeAnne will serve as the Champion Child for the next year, serving as the face of the hospital throughout the community.
At age 15, LeAnne was a highly active teenager involved in multiple sports. Following a series of unexplained fainting episodes, her family suspected she had anemia. LeAnne and her family traveled from Fallon to Reno, where she was admitted to Renown Children’ s Hospital for evaluation. Diagnostic testing confirmed T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia( ALL), a rapidly progressing cancer of the blood and bone marrow.
Leadership Updates
Chris Nicholas, MHA, FACHE— Chief Operating Officer, Renown Health Chris Nicholas has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer of Renown Health, where he will oversee systemwide operations while continuing to serve as CEO of Renown Regional Medical Center.
Jason Knight, MD, MBA, FACHE— Chief Medical Officer, Renown Regional Medical Center Dr. Knight joined Renown Regional Medical Center as Chief Medical Officer, leading clinical quality initiatives, physician engagement and medical staff alignment.
Amanda de los Reyes, MBA, FHFMA, EHRC— Vice President, Revenue Cycle Amanda de los Reyes joined Renown Health as Vice President of Revenue Cycle, overseeing systemwide revenue cycle operations and strategies to strengthen financial performance and patient experience.
Jenny Juchtzer— Vice President, Payer Contracting Jenny Juchtzer was promoted to Vice President of Payer Contracting, leading payer strategy, contract negotiations and partnerships supporting value-based care initiatives.
Cristal Woodley, MBA— Vice President, Marketing & Communications Cristal Woodley was promoted to Vice President of Marketing and Communications, where she leads brand strategy, digital marketing, internal communications and physician outreach initiatives.
