Instead of going through the trouble of peeling your oranges try cutting the orange straight down from the stem then while keeping the two halves together make another cut perpendicular to the first straight down the stem. This methods leaves you with 4 segments that can be eaten as is, additionally the skin of these segments is easily removable by pulling it off from the two tips formed thereby giving you the most orange for your buck!

Mathemagician:

Remembering the 11 times table for numbers 1 through 9 is relatively easy, but impress your friends by always being able to multiply any double digit number by 11 using this simple life hack. Take the number under question and imagine a space between the two digits, now add the two numbers and put the sum in the middle space (bring digits over to be added to left digit where applicable). Abracadabra! You have your answer.

Just a tip:

If you feel the need to tip at a restaurant most people will agree that a 15% tip is proper. To easily calculate this take the total bill amount, move the decimal point one place to the left to get a 10% percent tip (same as dividing by 10) (If you are not most people this should prove adequate) then you divide this value by 2 to get the 5% tip (again a perfectly acceptable amount to give) then finally add the 10% tip to the 5% tip to get your 15% tip.

75 x 11

7 (12) 5

the 1 in the 10 is added to the 7 making 8, the 2 is kept in middle

825

7 x 11 is 825
