There ’ s obviously truth to the report that Janella Salvador and her mom , former “ Miss Saigon ” star Jenine Desidero , are not in good terms .
The young star has reportedly transferred to her new digs with only her helpers as companions . When she was hospitalized , there was no mention that her mom had visited her . It is because of this recent hospitalization that her “ Maalaala Mo Kaya ” episode with Elmo Magalona was delayed .
In an interview with Janella at the press con of her movie with Elmo , “ My Fairy Tail Love Story ,” she said she is grateful she did not get dengue , as she had earlier feared .
“ It was just viral , according to my doctor , kaya ‘ di rin ako nagtagal sa ospital ,” she explained .
Produced by Regal Entertainment , “ My Fairy Tail Love Story ” is directed by Perci Intalan and also stars Kiko Estrada , Kiray Celis and Dimples Romana . In supporting roles Dominic Ochoa , Kakai Bautista , Kaladkaren Davila and Rubi Rubi . ●
Bella still “ friendzone ” with Zanjoe
According to Bela Padilla , her friendship with Zanjoe Marudoremains on the same level until now and hasn ’ t progressed on the next level yet contrary to what some quarters think .
“ That ’ s true . Zanjoe and I are okay . We communicate . But as in there ’ s the courtship element , no , we haven ’ t reached that stage . So I appeal to everyone to stop speculating that we ’ re already playing beautiful music together because in truth , we ’ re just friends ,” she says .

Kiray ’ s latest projects
Kiray Celis was limping when she attended the “ My Fairy Tail ” press con . “ Nag-attend ako ng binyag at dahil ninang ako , nasa simbahan ako . Unfortunately , nang lumabas ako ng church , may rumagasang SUV . ‘ Di ako nakailag . Too late nang ma-discover kong naipit ang isa kong paa ,” she related .
She revealed she chose not to report the incident to the authorities . “ Naawa ako sa driver nang humingi siya ng dispensa ,” she explained . “ Naisip kong kapag ini-reklamo ko siya , ‘ di naman niya ma-afford na bayaran ang ginastos ko sa ospital .”
Despite the accident , she is happy to say she will soon be seen in ABS-CBN ’ s “ Sana Dalawa ang Puso ,” which stars her favorites – Jodi Sta . Maria , Richard Yap and Robin Padilla .
Where her lovelife is concerned , Kiray reveals she is in love with a non-showbiz guy – and not with commercial model Kirst Viray , she cleared . The actress ’ boyfriend is shorter than her , she added .
“ Ganyan nga siguro ang pagibig , balewala ang height ,” she said . ●

“ Oh , no ! Nothing like that . We communicate , yes but for the record , he ’ s not courting me !”
Matt is new show ’ s villain
Matt Evans doesn ’ t mind that in his first official show on GMA he ’ s playing the role of a villain . He ’ s included in the cast of Sherlock Jr . headlined by Ruru Madrid .
“ Honestly , this is one thing I really want to do when I moved to the Kapuso lot . In fact , when asked by top honcho Ms . Lilybeth Rasonable , I told her right away that I don ’ t want a lead role . So , it ’ s no big deal if I ’ m a bad guy here in Sherlock Jr . It ’ s my choice in the first place ,” he explains .
He used to be a lead actor when he was still on ABS-CBN . In 2007 , he top-billed the fantasy series Da Adventures of Pedro Penduko .
“ That ’ s right , the reason why I perfectly know the pressure it entails . At this point , I ’ m more okay with character roles . Apart from the fact that it would make you penetrate the scene easier , playing villainous parts is challenging .”
Matt didn ’ t find it hard to adjust with his new work environment .
“ It helped that I ’ ve already worked with many Kapuso stars before in road shows or mall events so I know them quite well . It was just a matter of rekindling the acquaintance among ourselves .”
Now that he ’ s with GMA , who among its wards would he ’ ll like to work with in upcoming projects ?
“ Of course , Ate Marian ( Rivera ). There ’ s also Dennis Trillo and Tom Rodriguez ,” Matt states . ●
Does it have anything to do with Zanjoe ’ s being in showbiz too ?
“ Not really ! Ha-ha-ha ! Actually , I don ’ t have any preference . It ’ s just that I feel I still haven ’ t met the guy who would make me balance my professional and private life . I ’ m so career-driven . I ’ m just really waiting for that special someone who would sweep me off my feet and prove worthy of my attention and love . As of now , there ’ s none yet ,” Bela states . ●

Wil reveals positive result on his condition
An emotional vlog was uploaded by Wil Dasovich on his YouTube channel on Tuesday , February 2 ( US Time ), revealing the state of his condition after undergoing cancer treatment for the last six months .
In the video , Wil showed the moment he received the phone call , which revealed the results of the pathology analysis that would determine the presence of the remaining cancer cells in his body , or if his body has completely gotten rid of the disease . Wil was diagnosed with Stage 3 cancer in August of 2017 and began treatment immediately .
The phone call relayed good news . Wil will no longer need any further treatment , according to the medical officer . “ This is a good outcome because all the lymph nodes were negative . The read would be there ’ d be no need for any further treatment . At this point , you will be just under surveillance ,” the medical officer told him .
Wil cried tears of happiness and shared that he is now ready to close this chapter of his life and move forward .
“ Life is full of ups and downs and part of living is finding a way to surpass as many obstacles thrown at your course . But if you will find a path with no obstacles , it probably won ’ t lead you anywhere . We all have challenges ahead of us , but it ’ s all about how you respond to these challenges that will define you . Don ’ t let these challenges bring you down . Let it be the thing that lifts you up ,” he said . ●
