Hastings St, Vancouver, BC • Nova Leaf: 604-687-7292 ($36 / person) The story of Jesus’ fl ight to Egypt, recorded in Mat- thew 2, tells us that Jesus himself began his life in a situation quite similar to the situation that many undocumented children at countless global borders face today. It is both amazing and humbling that we worship a God who became man in the form of a child refugee. At this special breakfast, we are inviting a number of refugees who have come to Canada over the years (some recently and others who have been here for 5 yrs. or longer) from the Middle East, S.East Asia, Af- rica & other places. We hope to have a refugee guest at every table to enable people to hear their amazing &moving stories. We will be privileged to hear fi rst- hand about their experiences in Canada. that features local Surrey talent in the performing arts. Dancers from Panorama School of Dance, Queen Elizabeth Secondary, Frank Hurt Secondary, Just 4 Kicks, and Dream Gymnastics Inc. will be a part of the parade. Praise TEAM will also be a part of the parade again this week. They compete worldwide and have participated in competitions in Las Vegas. To make things even more exciting DRS Breakdance will be performing at the end of the parade with a live DJ to start off a Party in the Street near Central City Plaza. After their performance, the dance floor is open for anyone wanting to let loose. Come cheer on the dancers and kick off December with the spirit of the season!
