An exciting new e-commerce mobile application is in town that aims to give opportunities for students, housewives, sari-sari store owners, entrepreneurs, sales agents, freelancers, and home-based workers, and anyone looking to earn extra income without needing initial capital. Resellee, in partnership with the convenience store chain 7-11 and powered by the Mad Underground's Eco-enable Engine, recently soft launched at the Edsa Shangrila Hotel, in front of over a hundred industry leaders and merchants. Resellee is a mobile application that allows users to choose from thousands of products, share it on social media, and sell without having to purchase products in advance. The customer chooses a nearby 7-11 for delivery and is notified when the order is ready to be picked up. Using another Mad Underground innovation called Zeny, the reseller's commission can be directly deposited to their preferred bank, or favorite e-wallet like PayMaya, GCash, etc. “Our partnership with 7-11 enables us to deliver to customers of our resellers without any shipping fee. The Cash on Pick up and Dropship program is convenient and economical for our buyers, sellers, and merchants,” says Marc Concio, CEO of Resellee. Resellee is actively signing up merchants and partners into the platform. “Imagine having thousands of resellers for your products without having to spend additional overhead on sales people,” added Concio. By the end of 2019, Resellee will have over 10,000 sellers, selling over 100,000 products. Speaking at the Regional Forum on the Promotion of Sustainable Consumption in ASEAN, MRSGI Vice President for Corporate Affairs Anna Marie Periquet shared that “as engines of economic growth and shapers of consumer taste, retailers can make a difference in the world.” Periquet added that social responsibility is part of MRSGI’s corporate DNA. The company works alongside Vicsal Foundation to create programs that holistically take on the challenge of providing sustainable solutions for the society’s most pressing needs.
