PRIMER GROUP OF
COMPANIES CONTINUES A
CULTURE OF CARE THROUGH
ITS CSR PROGRAMS
Through the years, Primer Group of Companies has lived and
breathed giving back by way of its socio-civic programs and
outreach activities.
Primer Group’s employees — called KaPrimers — have built a
culture that champions activities that are both inclusive and
sustainable. As KaPrimers advance the company’s CSR goals,
beneficiaries not only enjoy a better quality of life but also move
forward with a more genuine appreciation of the solution and
process.
The Primer Group’s care towards the community does not end as
soon as the beneficiaries receive the help or assistance. Mid
2019, Primer conducted the Phase 2 of its Sustainable Tourism
Entrepreneurship Program (Tubong Lokal).
Through this program, residents of Barangay Alas-As in San
Nicolas, Batangas were given a tourism boost that resulted in
new livelihood opportunities for residents. Through this,
residents were equipped to take on the influx of opportunities in
tourism in their area.
To take an active stance against plastic waste, Primer CSR
recently teamed up with HydroFlask PH and RefillMyBottle for
RefrainAndRefill, a campaign that aims to promote awareness,
inspire sustainability, and lessen the reliance of many on
disposable plastics.
Philantropic activities are regularly practiced by Primer Group
such as the sponsorship of athletes who brave the elements and
go beyond their physical limitation to achieve something
amazing or extending assistance to disaster-relief efforts
whenever calamity strikes.
To make their CSR programs successful, the company promotes
an inclusive culture of volunteerism among its employees. It
starts from the top and trickles down to everyone within the
company. Employees share whatever resources they’re able to
allocate, whether finances, manpower, or networking —
everybody chips in.
ENTREGO EMPOWERS
INDUSTRIES WITH
TECH-DRIVEN FULFILLMENT
AND LOGISTICS SOLUTIONS
Entrego began operations in 2013 as ZALORA Philippines’
in-house logistics platform. It emerged as an independent
company in 2017 as a joint venture between AC Infrastructure
Holdings Corp., a fully owned subsidiary of Ayala Corporation and
the Global Fashion Group, an affiliate of ZALORA.
Since then, it has empowered businesses across different
industries by enabling safe and reliable nationwide deliveries with
value-added services at competitive costs. It has continuously
built its expertise and strong technological backbone by banking
on its experience in fulfilling logistics requirements of the online
retail platform as an advantage in understanding the needs of a
digitally-shifting market.
Today, it offers management of parcel, documents, and bulk
deliveries for business-to-business (B2B) and
business-to-consumer (B2C) clients, as well as freight
forwarding, and warehousing. Entrego brings together talent and
technology to deliver tailored logistics solutions that are apt to
the ever-changing needs of the Philippine industries, businesses,
and customers.
Entrego’s end-to-end fulfillment and logistics solutions serve
traditional enterprise industries including banking and finance,
telecommunications, pharmaceuticals, retail, automotive,
fast-moving consumer goods, education, and construction.
“Philippine e-commerce is estimated to grow to USD 10B by
2025, approaching 8-10% share of the market’s total retail spend.
E-commerce growth means parcel growth,” Entrego President
Constantin Robertz shared. To keep up with this growth, Entrego
has widened its reach to at least 95% of the e-commerce
serviceable market, expanding its network to 66 hubs that service
32,800 barangays across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
Entrego aims to connect businesses to areas across the
Philippines with its extensive nationwide coverage, robust
technology, and on-ground platform. Logistics solutions are now
made more efficient given the visibility and control provided by
digitalization and automation, ensuring the best experience for
our customers and our customers’ customers.
