Vinculum Group has received numerous
achievements throughout 2019, to add to its
omnichannel retail experience. From new partner sign
ups, enhanced data protection measures, or
industry-wide recognition from Gartner, a global
research and advisory firm, this year has been
splendid for the global software company.
In May, Vinculum was recognized by Gartner for the
third consecutive year and was featured in ‘Gartner
Magic Quadrant for Warehouse Management
Systems’. Based on research with leading warehouse
management solution companies all over the world,
Gartner recognizes top WMS solution providers in its
Magic Quadrant. On June 27, 2019, Vinculum got its
ISO 27001 Certification, with support from Aujas
Networks. The ISO certification indicates that
Vinculum complies with international standards in the
field of information security.
This ISO standard also provides an operating model
for establishing, executing, tracking, analyzing,
sustaining, and advancing the Information Security
Management System for the organization. The ISO
certification is an assurance that Vinculum considers
the security of its clients as its own and their data is
well-protected and secure.

Resellee, in partnership with the convenience store chain 7-11 and powered
by the Mad Underground's Eco-enable Engine, recently soft launched at the
Edsa Shangrila Hotel, in front of over a hundred industry leaders and
merchants. Resellee is a mobile application that allows users to choose from
thousands of products, share it on social media, and sell without having to
purchase products in advance. The customer chooses a nearby 7-11 for
delivery and is notified when the order is ready to be picked up. Using
another Mad Underground innovation called Zeny, the reseller's commission
can be directly deposited to their preferred bank, or favorite e-wallet like
PayMaya, GCash, etc.
“Our partnership with 7-11 enables us to deliver to customers of our resellers
without any shipping fee. The Cash on Pick up and Dropship program is
convenient and economical for our buyers, sellers, and merchants,” says
Marc Concio, CEO of Resellee.
Resellee is actively signing up merchants and partners into the platform.
“Imagine having thousands of resellers for your products without having to
spend additional overhead on sales people,” added Concio. By the end of
2019, Resellee will have over 10,000 sellers, selling over 100,000 products.
Posible is a business partner of Resellee Mobile Solutions, Inc. and will
distribute and market the mobile solutions to retailers and customers.
METRO RETAIL STORES GROUP SHARES INSIGHTS ON
SUSTAINABLE SHOPPING AT ASEAN REGIONAL FORUM
Homegrown retailer Metro Retail Stores Group Inc. (MRSGI) is
intent on opening more opportunities for sustainable shopping.
Speaking at the Regional Forum on the Promotion of Sustainable
Consumption in ASEAN, MRSGI Vice President for Corporate
Affairs Anna Marie Periquet shared that “as engines of economic
growth and shapers of consumer taste, retailers can make a
difference in the world.”
Periquet added that social responsibility is part of MRSGI’s
corporate DNA. The company works alongside Vicsal Foundation
to create programs that holistically take on the challenge of
providing sustainable solutions for the society’s most pressing
needs. Vicsal Foundation is the corporate social responsibility
arm of Vicsal Development Corporation, which owns and
operates MRSGI.
"We focus on helping eradicate poverty, provide quality
education, ensure decent work and foster economic growth, and
build stronger partnerships,” she said.
Among MRSGI’s programs are initiatives that promote inclusive
business for local farmers, fisher folk and weavers. The company
also helps consumer mindsets by providing them with
socially-responsible and high-quality products. The forum was
organized by the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN)
and the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), which brought
together delegates from ASEAN member states.
