Newest Kapamilya Richard Gutierrez returns to television as he joins the cast of ABS-CBN ’ s highlyanticipated epic action romance series “ La Luna Sangre .”
“ I have always been curious how it is to work in ABS-CBN . I only hear great things about this network . Finally , now I ’ m here , I ’ m excited that I have been given the opportunity to work here ,” Richard said in the contract signing held today ( May 31 ) with ABS- CBN COO for Broadcast Cory Vidanes , Star Creatives COO Malou Santos , Finance head for Broadcast and News and Current Affairs Cat Lopez , and talent manager Annabelle Rama .
Richard will be part of the upcoming series “ La Luna Sangre ” topbilled by Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla and directed
Newest Kapamilya Richard Gutierrez joins cast of “ La Luna Sangre ” by Cathy Garcia-Molina . He will play the role of Sandrino , the supreme vampire and the long lost son of Magnus ( Jake Roxas ). What will be his connection to the lives of Mateo ( John Lloyd Cruz ), Lia ( Angel Locsin ) and Malia ( Kathryn Bernardo )?
“ La Luna Sangre ” is the third installment of the hit fantasy franchise , after “ Lobo ” and “ Imortal ,” both produced by Star Creatives .
Aside from “ La Luna Sangre ,” Richard is also slated to do a movie with Angelica Panganiban and former loveteam Angel Locsin under Star Cinema .

‘ Eat Bulaga ’ needs new blood
“ Eat Bulaga ” needs new blood , especially now that two of their hosts are pregnant , Pia Guanio and Pauleen Luna . They need a new love team now that the “ AlDub ” noontime attraction has peaked . They can tap any of the younger guys on GMA , like Derrick Monasterio or Ruru Madrid or Kristoffer Martin , all of whom are potential new heartthrobs who can sing and dance well . Then find a new female character to be paired with any of them to create a new love team that will attract the fans anew .
Meanwhile , now that “ Destined to Be Yours ” has ended , the talks linking Maine to Sef Cadayona get louder than ever . This started some months ago but Maine denied it . It came up again after Maine posted photos of her videoke singing session with her good friends Juancho Trivino and Sheena Halili , her co-stars in “ Destined ” that “ AlDub ”
fans say were obviously taken at the home of Sef Cadayona in Paranaque .
Sef himself is not in the photos but the fans quickly concluded that it ’ s the house of the young comedian as seen in “ Dream Home ” of GMA last year . But naturally , fans loyal to the “ AlDub ” love team quickly questioned and bashed Maine , calling her “ malandi .” Writers we ’ ve talked to about this surmise that there must really something more than meets the eye in the relationship of Maine and Sef .
To be fair to Sef , he is very quiet and secretive about it , just like the time when he was rumored to be on with Andrea Torres . It ’ s Maine who seems to be more careless . ‘ Wildflower ’ opens 2nd year with all-time high rating
“ Wildflower ” once again hit a new all-time high national TV rating last Monday ( May 29 ) just as the ABS-CBN series started its second season , which promises viewers a ‘ wilder ’ viewing experience .
According to data from Kantar Media , “ Wildflower ” hit 25 % in nationwide TV ratings compared to its rival program that only go 15.2 %. The show also won its timeslot in total urban and rural Philippines , Mega Manila , and Metro Manila
In the said episode , viewers were captivated by the intense encounter between Arnaldo ( RK Bagasting ) and nanay Carlota ( Anna Abad Santos ) as well as Ivy ’ s very emotional moment when she found Carlota ’ s body lifeless .
