At the age of seven a little boy had his first paranormal experience. Afterward, paranormal events around him became a normal part of his life. The young boy often saw shadow figures darting here and there. As well as object would disappear and reappear in a location different location than where it was left and lovey music being played from the century old grand piano. These experiences would only be the beginning of an outstanding journey that was to come for this little boy. Christopher Moon is a man of many trades. He has spent many years as a professional musician; traveling with various Rock and Heavy Metal bands. Despite Moon’s passion for music he knew that he had a much grander purpose for this life. You see, Mr. Chris Moon is also a gifted Medium and Psychic. He made the life changing choice to leave the path of a
professional musician, to embark on a journey as a full time paranormal investigator. As he gained a reputation and notoriety he and his father created the critically acclaimed paranormal magazine, The Haunted Times in 2004. While working on the magazine he was contacted by Frank Sumption, an engineer with a device that enables two way communication between the living and the dead. He has also become a notable author of several books and speaker on all things paranormal. I was blessed enough to have a conversation with him as he was on his way to a book signing for his newest book: Ghost Box: Voices from Spirits, ET’s, Shadow People & Other Astral Beings. It was released and is had been readily available for purchase since August 8th, 2017. Chris Moon was kind enough to give a teaser on what to expect in the pages of his latest book:
“It is about my experiences with the ghost box. I was the first one to take it out into the field; my mother and I named it Frank’s box. It really talks about the history and how it all happened. My experiences with Frank and how the Ghost Box started out as a paranormal investigation tool. Afterward, we also learned that it was a Medium’s tool as well. I was able to break through the actual voices of people’s loved ones on the other side. The book dives into a lot of the paranormal investigations and personal readings.”
The Ghost Box fascinates me, really it does. To me it breaks through a lot of barriers that other devices used in paranormal investigations. The digital record, though excellent at documenting evidence, it is very difficult to speak with a spirit in real time and it seems to take a lot of energy for them to use it. Cameras have the ability to capture apparitions but they are often not noticed until well after the investigation is over. Then of course there is the Internet controversy that surrounds new EVP and photo/video evidence: it is fake because of ABC; it is real because of XYZ. However, I would argue that the Ghost Box can make the sternest skeptic think twice. Having the ability to have a real time conversation with a person that has passed on to the other side can not only make skeptics rethink their positions on the paranormal and the afterlife. I wondered out loud to Chris Moon if this device could be used in the legal system as evidence to solve crimes.
