When I graduated from pharmacy school in 2004, I
certainly did not imagine myself in my current role.
Actually, I didn't even know that a job like mine existed.
I began my career as a pharmacist working as a relief
pharmacist for a large chain. After a year, I was settled
into a home store. While I loved my staff and the
opportunity to develop relationships with my patients
over time, after a couple of years I found myself wanting
more out of my career. I wanted opportunity for
advancement but was not interested in becoming the
