WILL
REBEKAH Sure . How are we supposed to get it open , though ?

WILL
( REBEKAH ’ s face turns icy .)
REBEKAH Mom isn ’ t here , stupid . Who knows if she even made it out of her office before the floods .
( WILL mumbles something incoherent , turning away . REBEKAH pauses , realizing that her words may not have been the most tactful .)
REBEKAH Hey , Will . I ’ m sorry , okay ? I ’ m sure Mom and Dad are fine . They ’ re probably in the attic of their work buildings just like us , waiting until the boats come so they can see us again . Don ’ t worry .
( WILL nods sullenly .)
REBEKAH Here , check the radio . Maybe there ’ s an emergency broadcast that ’ ll give us some idea of what ’ s going on .
( WILL picks up an old radio and presses on . Nothing happens .)
WILL Ugh , this stupid thing is probably all waterlogged .
