It wasn ’ t that our business operations were stagnant or that our leaders weren ’ t ready to adopt a new vision . Instead , it felt like we were missing the foundation . We meet with our Petra coaches every three months to track the progress we ’ ve made on our journey , but it ’ s in the weekly and monthly meetings that we get into the weeds , discuss what is and isn ’ t working now , and identify any areas where action is lacking . When I have worked with coaches in the past , I ’ ve felt like we had to lead the process without much support , but with Petra , my entire perspective about these types of partnerships has changed . Short-term versus long-term focus points have long been in conflict within our organization . We used to get too bogged down in the short term to think about the long term or focused so heavily on our aspirations that we ’ d forget how to build a bridge from now to the future . The underlying way we operate since working with Petra is balanced . We balance our current goals with our future aspirations , our business priorities with our people priorities , and so much more .

After seeing such a long list of returns from our partnership with Petra Coach , it would be easy to convince ourselves that the work is done , but that couldn ’ t be further from the truth . Scaling , business development , and strategic planning require continuous work and realignment .
Currently , our engagement with Petra has been centered on our leadership team at the corporate level , but we plan to bring them to the business unit level , integrating Petra into the rest of our business operations .
