Can you help some of the long-stayers at TEARS find a loving home?

Six years ago, TEARS Animal Rescue rescued a beautiful dog named Bruno. For more than 2 000 days, he watched other dogs arrive, find families and leave, while he remained overlooked. He patiently waited for the day someone would choose him, but sadly, that day never came.
A month ago, Bruno was diagnosed with cancer. Although he underwent surgery, the cancer returned and TEARS had to make the heartbreaking decision to put him to sleep.
Bruno was a large, confident dog who loved adventure, long walks, playing fetch and learning new things. Like every shelter dog, he longed for simple comforts: a soft couch, a warm bed and someone to love him.
“ We were heartbroken because Bruno so deserved a home of his own,” says TEARS Animal Rescue spokesperson, Tinka Shapiro.“ In his memory, we want people to meet the other long-stayers and special-needs dogs still waiting in our kennels. They all deserve their chance to be chosen.”
