The Dreaded STAAR!!!!!

Every student in the state of Texas dreads that 4 hour test . I am writing this because I am against STAAR testing. STAAR stands for State of Texas Assessment of Academic Readiness.
I think that their grades should determine if the student fails or not. If the student does bad on the test they fail and they have to repeat the grade . And what if they get distracted? and fail then they still have to repeat the grade.
They don't need the stress. research has proven stress makes you do bad on the test. Plus if you finish in 1 or 2 hours and finish your books you have to do nothing for 3 to 2 hours. That's a long time to wait would you want to do nothing for 3 to 2 hours?
In addition some of the reasons people are for it will say: it shows their thinking. And it gets them prepared for future test. But if there were no test then they don't have to prepare. And they say it holds them accountable for their learning.
I think STAAR testing should be eliminated in the state of texas . And if they fail or not should depend on the report card. And their year round average. I think STAAR testing
should end.
