Major depressive disorder
Clinical depression is an illness and a mood disorder in which feelings of sadness, loss, anger, or frustration interfere with daily life for a long period of time.
CAUSES:
-Chemical changes in the brain.
-Alcohol or drug abuse.
-Sleeping problems.
-Stressful life events.
-Genetics.
-Medications that affect the brain, such as steroids.
SYMPTOMS:
-Agitation, irritability and anger.
-Fatigue and lack of energy.
-Feeling hopeless and worthless.
-Self-hate.
-Loss of interest in activities.
-Sudden change in appetite.
-Thoughts of death or suicide.
