REFLECTION

8. How can you use this assignment to continue to fit fitness into your life?

I can continue to use this assignment to fit fitness into my life, by being consistent with the goals I set for myself. Being able to just make working out just apart of my routine would be not only beneficial to my self-esteem, but also my general health. If I get tired of this assignment I can use my creativity to re-freshen up the exercises and the small techniques. Also I’m not only going to apply SMART to only setting goals, I can apply it to my daily life. For instance if I can specifically finish another task in a short amount of time, I’ll be able to squeeze in a workout during school days. This requires me to manage my time properly. Other ways I can use this assignment to continue to fit fitness in my life, is my downloading the app of my magazine to my phone, so it can become apart of my routine, because I take my phone everywhere I go. Basically makes me have access to workouts everywhere I go, therefore when I find myself doing nothing I can simply open up the app and use it. So in order to actually benefit from this assignment, I have to apply the SMART technique on my life and also make this apart of my routine such as eating and waking up and sleeping. Once it becomes apart of my daily regime it will become easier to stay more fit and dedicated to exercise programs like such.

9. Which activities do you like best an least? Why?

My favourite activities were the WOD’s and 100’s day, because they were done in class, which made them very familiar and fun to do. Also I enjoy having a schedule that specifically states what I’m doing, which is what the WOD represents in this case (daily schedule). Throughout the year I explored many different WOD’s, which gave me an insight to how important they are. WOD’s and 100’s day also gives people the chance to go at their own pace in order to complete the given exercises. There is no pressure to finish it therefore they are my favourites. My least favourite were the arm exercises, because as stated before my arms are extremely weak therefore I find it a lot more painful to work it out. Hopefully if I continue to follow my goal, I won’t find my arms as weak as before. I also hate arm exercises, because when I work it out intensely, the other parts of my body feels disproportioned since most of the post-workout soreness comes from my hand.
