Future Readiness
Perkiomen Valley High School
seniors who want to learn more
about a profession can spend
three weeks in the spring on Ca-
reer Study. This program offers a
way for students to partner with
area professionals and explore a
potential career.
In the 2018-19 school year, Perkiomen Valley
School District began the first phase of its 1:1/Dig-
ital Learning Initiative. Students in ninth-grade
received Chromebooks that they can use in school
and at home for anywhere/anytime learning.
Each year, Perkiomen Valley High School
organizes a Career and Volunteer Fair to
introduce students to potential careers and
volunteer opportunities. Career profes-
sionals and non-profit organizations set up
tables to share information with students
and they also offer workshops that provide
young people with advice on resume writing,
job interviews and more.
Students interested in the teaching profes-
sion can get hands-on, real world expe-
rience through the Teacher Apprentice
Program (TAP).
