TIC´S AT JOSEMA SCHOOL By CIE
It is of general knowledge that the world is moving on a virtual world and new generations communicate on different basis, giving priority to social networks, and virtual spaces, leaving behind orthodox practises.
Therefore needing some input from teachers who have the responsibility of helping them to develop technological and communicative skills.
The CIE comitee understands such need of innovation and creativity of using TIC´s in the classroom as part of the process of learning a foreign language, that is why in our clases from preschool to eleventh grade in both languages English and French students are exposed to different sources and demanded to develop their own materials using a variety of technological trends such as web pages, blogs, online activities, videos, applications like Publisher, prezi, powerpoint, video editors among others and their own personal devices like Smartphones, tablets and laptops.
The good results obtained in recent years have demonstrated that the methodology has been rightfully complemented by the use of TIC´s. That´s why we, as teachers, everyday give a step towards self improvement regarding this matter.
