ICCI HR Conference third edition was held in
New Delhi on 19th & 20th Nov 2018.
First time in an HR Event, Non-HR functions got an
opportunity to attend a conference for understanding
the challenges which management and HR encounter
in the changed business environment related to
disruption; and experience how both HR and non-
HR functions need to collectively take the journey of
company transformation ahead.
The event presented a unique opportunity for the
audience to attend concurrent workshops on trending
topics.
1) Big Data Analytics in HR presented by Shweta
Sharma, Founder of Collaborative Climate and
KoSolve, was attended by HR business partners,
generalists, talent management and development
professionals.
The objectives of the workshop were to recognize
business and relevant human resource goals, discuss
structured and unstructured big data that lie within
an organization and that classify functions such
as recruitment, talent development, performance

management and employee exit functions that can
utilise HR Analytics, to identify some of the common
growth metrics.
2) Application of Cognitive Psychology in HR
was presented by Srikanth Arimanithaya Senior
Vice President-Integrated Workforce Management
and India Co-Managing Director DXC Technologies.
Corporations invest signifi cantly in intangible
assets such as culture, leadership, skills, net working
relationship building, creativity & innovation.
Cognitive computing facilitates a seamless inter-
action between humans and machines. An interac-
tion based on the principles of cognitive psychology
such as learning, intelligence, memory, perception,
emotions, attitude, personality, aptitude, reasoning,
thinking, etc., aspects such as perception, attitude,
emotions, thinking, etc. penetrating the computing
world.
The session focused on opportunities to leverage
cognitive psychology principles for understand of
intangible assets to enable value creation for the
organizations.
