Collaborations and friendships that were long overdue.
Nerves turned into motivation and inspiration.
With the amount of gigs I've been receiving thus far (both writing and photography), it feels as though my career has blossomed into a part time job. That's a blessing considering where and how I began. This is something I love to do and have been wishing for for years. Seeing my career to continue to blossom day by day has inspired me to continue progressing. All the hard times were worth it until this point and will be worth it even more in the future.
With the new scenery, I've been motivated to exercise more often. Not only does it allow me to stay warm during the cold months without having to use so much heat, it's allowing my body to become stronger than it was in the past. Especially since I wasn't breathing as well as I had a few months prior. My contentedness has turned into happiness with both my body and career.
Those are just two outside sources that inspired happiness within me. Being in an environment with little to no negative energy, a stable and growing support system and all the doors that are beginning to open gives me an amazing feeling inside. This is nothing compared to the small amount of joy I felt when I was able to breathe life into my idea of molding my talents and passions into a career that I would love to have.
Being a slave is something I could never bring myself to be. This is what I'm meant to do in this life. There's no other option.
Writing Collabs
There are some song lyrics and poems I've written in my perspective, but I'm just as talented when it comes to writing in another person's view point as well. I like being able to put my story into a poem or song as well as being able to write as though it's in the perspective of someone else. Some people enjoyed my writing so much that they've asked me if I would be willing to write at least one song telling their story.
I'm excited because I get to actually write for someone else. She's excited because she gets to collaborate with someone who is more than willing to help her with lyrics. She's great at writing stories, but wished for help in making music. We're both excited to be able to create something great together.
More than project partners
What began as a business relation also became a friendship with some people I've crossed paths with. I knew I would make at least a few friends once I moved here, but didn't expect to be friends with some of the same people I would have the pleasure of working with. Not only will we work on more projects together, but we'll be able to have fun outside of working as well. I love being able to enjoy my time with them, working or otherwise.
