Lately, I've been promoting a lot more on social media. Now that I've been posting more, I felt it was time to promote some of the things I had done. Though I've had to settle down on the amount of time I would do so because of finances, my pages have been getting a lot more attention as of late.

I've gotten a combination of good and bad feedback which I appreciate equally. A flower need sunshine AND rain to bloom. The same can be said for my career. Not everyone has to completely love what I do and I welcome it as long as there's constructive criticism behind it. Through all of that, I've been doing much better than I have in the past. I'm beyond happy and grateful for it all and can't wait to see what is left for me in the future.

PROMOTING ON SOCIAL MEDIA

Moved while whispering instead of in silence.

While preparing to move, I only told the few people who were close to me. I didn't feel the need to broadcast it to the world. Not everyone needed to know what was going on in my life. I always felt that telling everyone everything would spoil the blessing I had coming to me in the near future. It wasn't until I was leaving my "job", packing my final bag and getting the truck that I changed where I live on social media and posted my final pics in my hometown. Those I hadn't told were shocked and there were some who didn't have too many kind words, but I did what was best for me. After The Most High and my elders and ancestors, I'm number one in this life. Can't prosper sitting still.

Being able to say goodbye was something I originally thought would be difficult, but it was a lot simpler than I thought it would be. Saying hello to Cincinnati was something I was as equally nervous about as I was excited for. So far, it's been fair to me.
