Air and fluid power specialist Thorite has created a series of new services and specialist teams to enhance its customer offering .
The company has drawn on 170 + years of expertise to create a dedicated Energy Recovery Facility ( ERF ) Team as well as a dedicated Food & Beverage Facility ( FBF ) Team .
In addition , it has brought together its wide range of energy saving solutions and support to provide a 360 ° service to help customers reduce their energy consumption and cut spiraling fuel bills .
The past year has also seen Thorite significantly expand its Aftermarket Solutions Team , to form one of the most comprehensive compressor servicing provisions available in the UK .
ERF TEAM
The ERF Team provides a one-stop service to the Energy from Waste industry , including product supply , installation , maintenance support and servicing . It applies its compressed air capabilities to help companies achieve improved efficiency and financial savings .
A recent successful project involved replacing two compressors , which needed to be in use 24 / 7 to achieve full operational capacity at the ERF , without incurring any downtime .
The bespoke solution was delivered on time and to budget . Real-time monitoring recorded reduced energy use and improved operational efficiency within two hours of the project ’ s completion .
FBF TEAM
Thorite ’ s FBF Team understands the unique challenges faced by the industry .
The team recently helped a customer reduce its cleaning-in-place ( CIP ) times by specifying a FLOWave SAW flowmeter - saving energy , dramatically reducing water consumption and delivering a six-month payback period and future cost savings .
ENERGY SAVING SOLUTIONS
Thorite provides ISO 11011 Certified Energy Audits which identify potential savings and recommend and deliver cost-calculated energy efficiency solutions .
Assessments include :
