Founded in 1983, Rayair
Automation Ltd. was created to
facilitate production efficiency
to the Maltese industries in their
production capabilities, thus the
Maltese industry could compete
with international manufacturing
companies.
Over the years, Rayair
Automation has grown from one
full- time employee to nine full-
time employees specializing
in designing, manufacturing,
assembly and commissioning
of fully and semi-automated
machinery. Apart from growing
in the manual workforce, Rayair
also grew with regards to a new
factory and new machinery. Rayair
is equipped with the latest CNC
machinery, the latest software and
a 3D printer to help in prototyping
of jigs and fixtures.
Over the years, Rayair has supplied
automations for the cosmetic
industry, the Pharmaceutical
industry, the automotive industry,
the rubber industry and to other
specialized industries including
those specializing into packaging.
Rayair, collaborates with well-
known brands, including Unitronics,
Piab, Camozzi and Denso
Robotics and thus automations are
becoming more flexible and with
greater output performance thanks
to the latest technologies offered by
its suppliers.
One of the latest technologies
integrated together by the in-house
team at Rayair Automation was
a 6-Axis robot together with two
vision cameras. This system, used
for punching components, was
developed over a period of just
3 months and is now considered
to be one of the highlights for
Rayair automation. Rayair’s
portfolio also includes automation
for assembling toys, cosmetics,
palletizing, polishing, transportation
and automatic inspection and
packaging.
Thanks to the trust shown by its
clients, nowadays, Rayair is looking
to expand its operation overseas
and is looking for a partner to help
