LEMON CUPCAKES
Makes 14 cupcakes
For the cupcakes :
1 2 ⁄ 3 cups all-purpose flour 1 cup granulated sugar
2 tablespoons lemon zest ( zest of two lemons )
¼ teaspoon baking soda 1 ½ teaspoons baking powder ¼ teaspoon kosher salt ¾ cup unsalted butter , melted 2 eggs , room temperature ½ cup sour cream , room temperature ¼ cup whole milk , warm ¼ cup lemon juice
For the buttercream :
1 cup butter 4 ½ cups powdered sugar ¼ teaspoon salt ¼ cup lemon juice 2 tablespoons lemon zest
